In Hyogo Prefecture, approximately 101,000 foreigners from 140 countries such as businessmen with families, students and technical trainees are living.
Foreigners with versatile cultures and lifestyles are living together and various foreigners’ communities have been born. To begin with, “Hyogo International Plaza”, base of international exchange and cooperation, living guide for foreign residents corresponding to general living, legal and labor matters in multi-languages, and information services through web pages and FM broad casting are supporting foreigners’ lives. Medical services with multi-languages are fully provided.
Compared to Tokyo, Hyogo-Kobe provides a more comfortable environment with reasonable living cost for the local residents.
